how are u this morning? hope you are having an amazing celebration just like I did. we slept over on my brother's new house, having a BBQ, watching the fireworks... for some of you today might be your first day to work or school. Semangat ya!! \(^.^)/ for me, since my office didn't have "new year holiday" I've already work since Monday, Jan 2nd, 2012.

I feel so blessed for the year 2011. My works featured 2 times in local magazine. You can read the article it here and here. Saya jadi ingat pembicaraan saya dengan seorang sahabat. Sebut saja dia "bunga" (bukan nama sebenarnya :p). Bunga and I really like to read architectural & interior magazine. We discuss about it all the time, the designer, the designer, the architect, the design process... Bunga said that he (oops... yes. bunga is a HE) is SURE that one day his work will be featured in a national even international magazine. Well, from that day on I always say to my self "I'll proof to you I can do the same". and here in the evidence. I can only say Alhamdulillah.

Beside my formal work at exxo interior. I channel my passion for fashion by creating an online shop called Studio 1987 by the end of 2010. Now that it's been a year long of shopping and selling, I would like to bring my brand to the next level. Hopefully this year I will have more time to manage this brand. Amien.

Tahun lalu, keluarga saya banyak mengalami peristiwa yang cukup menguras tenaga dan pikiran. Sakitnya mamah di semester awal 2011. Operasi besarnya hingga perjalanan ibadah haji Mamah & Papah di semester kedua 2011. During the time my parents doing hajj, I help them by managing 2 house and my 2 brothers. Kind of hard. I felt so tired sometime. But, hearing how my parents gone trough all the hajj process easily, I feel so relieve.

"Terima kasih ya Allah sudah melindungi kedua orang tuaku selama ada disana... :')"

As for my Love Life... well... this is a true roller coaster, I guess. You might have read a few "galau" post here in my blog. Long story short, I'm no longer in a relationship. But this feeling would never lied. I still love him. I guess he feel the same. But the differences between us is an absolute thing. All I can do now is just be close to him without being able to claim that I AM WITH HIM. I can't tell him not to fall in love with other girl (which is happening right now). It hurts, off course. Most of my friends told me to leave him. well it is not that easy if you were me. I don't have to explain why. I can only cry at my deepest heart when he tell me how he tell his feeling to this girl. Maybe he is not the best man. Maybe he can't protect my feeling very well. Maybe you all right. He is a jerk. and this stupid girl (read : ME) is still in love with him.

I'm in the process to letting go. I'm in the process of fixing my broken heart. Hope in 2012, Allah will sent me my prince charming. Someone who love me just like he love him self. Someone who love my family just like he loves his family as well. Some who can help me to be a better me and need me to do the same. Some one who can be an imam in my prayer.

"Ya Allah, wherever he is right now, please tell him that I love him and I will prepare my self to meet him."

About this blog. Tahun 2011 adalah tahun kebangkitan blog ini. Semoga tahun depan saya bisa lebih rutin ngeblog & kualitas tulisan saya juga meningkat dari hari ke hari.

well sometimes we forget how beautiful God has created we are. sometimes we forget to say thank you to Him. we forget how lucky we are to have a perfect body. Perfect disini maksudnya adalah sempurna, utuh tidak kurang suatu apapun. imagine how hard to "walk" in a wheelchair if we don't have feet. imagine how hard not to be able to hear our moms voice if we have no ear.

banyak orang yang bilang Cantik dan Sempurna itu berbeda. hal-hal yang saya ungkapkan diatas adalah hal-hal untuk mengingatkan bahwa kita sempurna. for me, being beautiful is a state of mind. if you think you are beautiful, then you are. If u considered yourself ugly, well enjoy your own miserable thought.

I always said I am not really good atdoing my own make up. sometimes i think I am not so pretty myself too. I may not had the best body in the world. I may not hadthe clear-est skin in the world. But, above all I love my self more than anygirl in the world.

ATTENTION : this is a very late post. :) one of my earliest work featured in Majalah Griya ASRI Vol.12 No.4 April 2011... Alhamdulillah...

Artikel ini me-review sebuah rumah tinggal di Kawasan Cibubur. Pada halaman pertama ditampilkan foto ruang tamu mungil dengan sofa & lukisan bernuansa orange yang membuat atmosfer ruangan menjadi fresh!

Halaman berikutnya menghadirkan suasana Pantry sekaligus Ruang Makan. Island-nya dilengkapi Built-in Hob, Cooker hood dan breakfast table. I really love this space... Membayangkan suasana berkumpul keluarga di ruangan ini... Pasti menyenangkan! :)

Ruang keluarga lt 2 yang dilengkapi TV board & Sofa kulit berwarna hitam. Very Masculine. 2 gambar yang lain menampilkan sebuah furnitur yang multifungsi. Di satu sisi sebagai TV board, sisi lainnya difungsikan sebagai meja rias... a true space-saver solution!

Alhamdulillah... I finally launched my Online Shop... with the help of my bestfriends wintri. the name is...

Studio1987

we decided to use this name because both of us are Architect. for an architect, studio is the place where he/she can do all the experiments and explorations. And we wanted our fashion brand represent that.

and here is the logo..

sebelum logo ini muncul, saya dan wintri punya beberapa pilihan logo seperti gambar2 dibawah ini...

i made this logo. i like grey, but we dont think this color represent our brand very well. it's to masculine, i guess... ^^

i made this one too, cute right? ;) but wintri think that this logo is to girly... haha...

i come up with this colorsceme... wintri loves it too, so she modify this in to this logo...

So, now u know the history of our logo :D how about our 1st collection? here we go... we named it.. "my december" and alhamdulillah this collection is SOLD OUT...

i call it textured nude.
nude adalah warna yang netral... sangat netral menurut saya. karena itu kadang cenderung menjadi (terlalu) flat dan boring. untuk menhhindarinya saya memanfaatkan lipit, ruffle, lace, dan lain-lain untuk menghidupkan warna ini.

deep blue sky.
salah satu color of this season is navy blue. disamping hitam, putih, coklat dan warna-warna netral lainnya warna biru hadir untuk memperkaya palet warna di musim gugur.

Indo Build Tech 2008 @ JCC

liburan kemaren, diriku sempat jalan jalan ke JCC liat pameran teknologi dan bahan bangunan.

Inti pameran yang judulnya Indo Build Tech 08 ini adalah untuk menunjukan ke masyarakat Indonesia teknologi dan bahan bangunan apa yang paling baru dan paling Hip yang ada di dunia saat ini. Seru sekali sebenarnya pameran ini. sayangnya aku ga lama "nonton" pamerannya. jadi hanya sedilit yang bisa ku share. ini adalah hasilnya..

yang suka dunia desain (trutama product design) pasti pernah dengar nama diatas. yap, he is one of the most talented and successful young designer. indonesia beruntung punya Leo. kemaren dia abis launch koleksi sanitari baru untuk TOTO. yeah that international brand give him the opportunity to design his own sanitary line. namanya LOOP Collection. hebat yah.. semoga kehebatan dia nular juga ke aku... amien...

dua foto ini yang diatas itu standnya BLUESCOPE steel. produsen atap zincalume. perhatiin deh. atap2 itu bisa di lengkungin 180 derajat. wah makin ga berbatas aja neh kesempatan kita para (calon) arsitek untuk mendesain... ^^

kalo yang dibawah ini stand PRYDA. produsen rangka atap baya ringan. standnya cukup atraktif dan kalo lewat di depannya bakal dapet stiker gratis... hehe...

2 foto yang (diatas dan dibawah) ini adalah stand salah dua produsen keramik sebagai bahan penutup dinding dan lantai.
yang satu (yang atas) lebih menonjolkan unsur alam. jadi keramiknya dibuat mirip2 batu alam.
sedangkan yang satu lagi (yang bawah) dia bikin keramik buat dinding yang motifnya kaya wallpaper. menurutku keren.

nah yang diatas ini salah satu stand favorit aku. niro granite. produsen granit tile yang cukup okeh. sayang brosurnya abis... T_T ga kebagian.
stand ini juga bagi2 balon. sayangnya saya uda gede. jadi ga dapet balon deh...

haha... dua foto ini rada ga penting sebenernya. inilah rombonganku.

okeh kan? makanya aku hobi banget dateng ke pameran... sebenernya masih banyak stand lain yang juga keren. kaya KENARI DJAJA produsen & distributor kunci & gembok terkeren di Indonesia (menurutku, karena mereka sampe mendistribusikan karya arsitek & desainer top dunia ke indonesia...) ini ngusung tema GARDEN PARTY di standnya. saking ramenya stand ini aku sampe da bisa foto. T_T

yah smoga aja next time bakal ada pameran sejenis di semarang.

ngomong2 soal pameran. aku belum nyelesain PA ku.

seminggu yang lalu aqu dateng ke acara Open House Arch UI 08. bareng win3 & chan. it's been along time.. i haven't met them. chan tetap kecil, win3 tetep sexy. . he3..

ini qta be3... baru sampe narsis dulu di Taman Menteng
(a nice place. tp banyak orang pacaran. jadi risih liatnya)

sebelomnya qta sempet nonton kung-fu panda di Plaza Semanggi. nonton film ini jadi inget pacarQu tercinta yang ga kalah ndutz ma Po, panda jagoan kungfu di film ini (buka situsnya di http://www.kungfupanda.com/ lucu...tapi loadnya lumayan lama)

acaranya cukup keren. tadinya aQu sempet ga pede dateng. takut ciut. tapi setelah dateng ternyanya ga juga. aQu malah tambah pede buat bikin acara serupa di kampus. aQu yakin banget temen2 JAFT UNDIP juga bisa bikin hal yang sama bagusnya (or even better? who knows?)

displaynya keren, tapi (menurutQu) beberapa karya kurang tersampaikan concept dan wujudnya kerena media yang sangat imut. tapi beberapa karya cukup informatif & inspiratif

dibelakangnya ada poster-poster yang isinya foto&sketsa tangan anak UI yang abis Studi ekskursi ke Bali. (wah sma dunk ma Qta...)

sebenenya masih banyak yang mw ditampilin. tapi berat bgt loadnya. jadi segini aja dulu. smoga bisa jadi motivasi buat temen2 JAFT UNDIP dan jurusan arsitektur di kampus lain. untuk bikin acara yang ga kalah seru...

tidak lupa mari menyanyikan lagu wajib Qta...
